Kindergarten sign-ups begin March 17
Kindergarten registration is being conducted by appointment in the enrollment office at Maple Heights High School, 5500 Clement Drive, beginning March 17 through March 20 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Registration packets are available at the main entrance of the high school and should be completed prior to the appointment.
The following items are required to complete the enrollment of all kindergarten students: Birth certificate (original or certified copy; child must be age 5 by Sept. 30 to enroll), Social Security card or number, custody papers (a signed and certified copy, if applicable), complete immunization record, Ohio driver's license or Ohio ID, proof of residency (such documents include but are not limited to current voter registration card, current municipal income tax return, valid driver's license with current address, current utility bills, pay vouchers, current leases and current insurance declaration pages -- at least three of these items will be required).

Open house March 2 at Bedford Co-Op
Bedford Co-Op Nursery School's spring open house is March 2 from 1 to 2:30 p.m. at 79 Center Road, Bedford.
The nursery school is enrolling students who will be ages 3-5 by Aug. 1 for the 2008-09 school year. Parents will have a chance to see the facilities and meet the teachers at the open house.
Families from the Bedford City School District as well as surrounding communities such as Maple Heights, Garfield Heights, Twinsburg, Sagamore Hills, Northfield, Macedonia and Solon attend the nursery school.
Bedford Co-Op features a family-friendly, integrated curriculum that includes field trips, in-class presentations/special visitors, and hands-on activities for parents and children. Children learn through activities, themes, crafts & interactive play while preparing for kindergarten.
