Learn about herbs
Join the Bedford Garden Club for its monthly meeting on May 21. The guest speaker, Kathy Catani, is an advanced master gardener and the founder of the Chagrin Valley Herb Society who will present "All About Herbs." Catani, who is also certified by the University of Connecticut as a master gardener, designed the herb garden at the Bainbridge Library in Geauga County. The herb garden is maintained by the Herb Society. She is also involved in the Garden of Life at St. Joan's Church in Chagrin Falls. Trained as a teacher, Catani has adapted those skills in her work with gardeners.
The Garden Club meets at Ellenwood Recreation Center, 124 Ellenwood Avenue, in Bedford, at 7:30 p.m.
