MARGARET E. BEATTY (BEDFORD)
Funeral services were Nov. 14 at St. John Funeral Home for Margaret
E. Beatty (nee Provance) of Bedford, who died Nov. 11, 2008, at Northfield Village
Retirement Community at the age of 85.
Mrs. Beatty was born in Ronco, Penn. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Robert; sons, Barry (Terry) and
Robert (Cindy); five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sisters, Amity Provance,
June Harkins, Audrey Preamble, Jean Perella, Janet Thomas, Mary Catherine Wallace
and Veronica Klink. She was preceded in death by her brother, James Provance; and sister,
Patricia Havanas.
Burial was at Church Hill Cemetery in McClellandtown, Penn. The St. John Funeral Home handled the arrangements. The family suggests contributions to the Shepard
Road Christian Church, 9571 Shepard Road, Macedonia, OH 44056.
