Bedford Class of 1978 reunion set for Aug. 8

Members of the Bedford High School Class of 1978 will celebrate their 30th reunion Aug. 8 at St. Michael's Woodside in Broadview Heights.

Bedford Class of 1998
reunion planned

The Bedford High School Class of 1998 reunion will take place Sept. 26-28. The reunion will have a whole weekend worth of activities, but the formal dinner-dance location has not been set yet.

East High Class
of 1948 plans reunion

The 1948 graduating class of East High School will conduct its 60th reunion Sept. 28 at the Holiday Inn on Rockside Road in Independence.

Alcohol program set

The Gospel House Church, 14707 Alexander Road, Walton Hills, has meetings on alcoholism scheduled on Tuesdays at 7:30 p.m. at the church.

Dining directories on sale

The Maple Heights Senior Center, 15901 Libby Road, is selling "Our Town and All Around" 2008 dining directories.

They contain coupons for dining, cultural activities, special events and retail services.

The cost is $25.

All proceeds will be used to fund Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners for homebound seniors in the community.
