Discover the secrets of a nearby nature treasure when David Wright, naturalist at Shaker Lakes Nature Center, talks to the Bedford Garden Club May 15 at 7:30 p.m. at Ellenwood Center, 124 Ellenwood Ave., Bedford.

Called Dike 14, it is a man-made 88-acre peninsula for migratory birds in northeast Ohio.
