by Tim Troglen Reporter Maple Heights -- A 16-year-old Maple Heights High School student and a 15-year-old from Cleveland, were charged March 7 with aggravated robbery after police allege they tried to rob a 49-year-old Maple Heights man at knife point. According to Maple Heights Police Detective Gerald Prusha, a Regional Transit Authority bus driver told police he saw the two juveniles allegedly trying to rob the man near Mapleboro Avenue and South Boulevard around 6:30 p.m. Prusha said the bus driver stopped the bus and allowed the man to get on as the two juveniles ran from the scene. The man was not injured. The victim told police the juveniles allegedly demanded money from him, but when he said he did not have any, the 15-year-old allegedly punched him in the face while the 16-year-old allegedly held out a knife. Prusha said when police arrived, they followed footprints in the snow which led them to a home in the 17400 block of Mapleboro Road. In the home police found the juveniles, who were later identified by the victim. They were charged with aggravated robbery and assault and are being held at the Cuyahoga County Juvenile Detention Center awaiting a court hearing.
