Kindergarten sign-ups begin March 17

Kindergarten registration is being conducted by appointment in the enrollment office at Maple Heights High School, 5500 Clement Drive, beginning March 17 through March 20 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Registration packets are available at the main entrance of the high school and should be completed prior to the appointment.

The following items are required to complete the enrollment of all kindergarten students: Birth certificate (original or certified copy; child must be age 5 by Sept. 30 to enroll), Social Security card or number, custody papers (a signed and certified copy, if applicable), complete immunization record, Ohio driver's license or Ohio ID, proof of residency (such documents include but are not limited to current voter registration card, current municipal income tax return, valid driver's license with current address, current utility bills, pay vouchers, current leases and current insurance declaration pages -- at least three of these items will be required).

Easter candy sale planned

The Maple Heights Senior Center Advisory Site Council is sponsoring an Easter candy fundraiser featuring Baker Candies.

Order forms are available at Maple Heights Senior Center, 15901 Libby Road, Maple Heights.

Starting March 10, candy will be available for purchase from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Payment is due when the order is placed. Orders will be available for pick-up during Easter week from March 17 through 20. Pick-ups can also be made March 21, which is Good Friday, until noon.
