Bedford -- The Bedford Chamber of Commerce welcomed this year's new members and thanked the sponsors of this summer's Party in the Parks series Aug. 2 with a cookout at the Chamber's office on Bedford Commons.
About 20 people attended the dinner, in which Chamber board members donned aprons, spatulas and other grilling gear.
The Party in the Park series continues every Wednesday in August from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Commons and feature a variety of live bands. The Bedford Times-Register will sponsor the Aug. 22 Party in the Park.

DBA Ziebart, Gibbers Playhouse, Jordan Construction, Inc., Robin Thomas, Lake Shore Electric Corp., Continuum Transportation Services LTD, The Federal Metal Company, Auto Trim Design of Cleveland, e-designersuits LLC, Ake Laboratory Inc., Bedford Auto Wrecking Inc., American Testing Co., Inc., The Absolute Group, Inc., Dr. Michael Krasnyansky, Bedford Auto/Van Rental, Rysar Properties, Berwyn Technologies and ART Experiences.
