The Maple Heights Chamber of Commerce is hosting a regional networking event Sept. 20 from 5:30 to 8 p.m.

Taking part in this event will be the Bedford, Bedford Heights, Garfield Heights and Nordonia Hills Chamber of Commerce organizations.

It will be at the Hungarian Business and Tradesmen's Club, 15805 Libby Road, Maple Heights.

Admission is $20 for Chamber members.

There will be complimentary hors d'oeuvres and soft drinks plus a cash bar.

USO collecting items for troops

The USO of Northern Ohio is collecting items to fill care packages to be shipped to local service men and women deployed overseas.
